Leaving the Boro? Take the home-office crew with you
People leave Statesboro for a few reasons, and we've moved all of them. A degree finishes and a job starts in Atlanta. A family follows work to the Carolinas. Grandparents head for Florida. Every one of those moves should be done by a crew you've met — the same people who load your house are the ones who unload it — and not by a company that treats a small-town move as a rounding error.
Long-distance works differently from a local move. It's quoted as one flat price before move day, based on what you own, the distance, and what access looks like at both ends. You know the number before anything gets loaded, and it doesn't move afterward. The trucks leave from our office on Pamela Way, which is why a Statesboro date is easier to hold than one that starts a hundred miles away.
One crew, door to door
This is the part worth understanding, because it's where most long-distance moves go wrong. A national van line typically consolidates your things with other shipments, moves them between trucks and warehouses, and gives you a delivery window — a spread of days, sometimes weeks, when your furniture might show up.
We don't do that. The crew that loads you in Statesboro is the crew that unloads you, and your things stay on one truck the whole way. Nothing gets consolidated, nothing sits in a warehouse. Here's the move a college town makes more than any other: a one-bedroom's worth of belongings, headed four hundred miles. So the quotes come back high or don't come back at all, and the family ends up renting a truck and losing a weekend.

Not ours. You'll be unloaded by people who live in Bulloch County, know which apartment complexes have an elevator, and can tell you where to eat that night.
What counts as long-distance, and what doesn't
Savannah, Augusta, and the towns a couple of hours out are day trips, and often price better as a local move than as a flat quote. When to book
Three to four weeks is comfortable. The crunch here isn't summer in general — it's May and August, graduation and the start of the fall term, when a good share of the town moves in the same two weeks. Long-distance dates are the first to go in those windows, because they take a truck and a crew off the board for more than a day. Call earlier than feels necessary and you'll get the date you want.
